Qualification Choices: There are 3 qualification choices for you to choose from here to cater for all student requirements.  Accredited with practical attendance, Accredited distant learning (no attendance) and VTCT.

Description:                                                             

This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of anatomy & physiology, and aromatherapy services incl, how to use blended oils and the blending of essential oils and carrier oils for use with other media as well as learning an aromatherapy massage.  You will receive details of 42 essential oils & 19 carrier oils in which to study and incorporate into your treatments.

Pre-requisites (entry level): 

An A&P qualification

An anatomy and physiology accredited course can be studied alongside this course

Course format:                                                        

Practical attendance 2 days practical + home study + case studies. Training material is emailed to you.

Course content:                                                      

Health, safety & hygiene, client care & communications, anatomy & physiology, aromatherapy services, aromatherapy massage, essential oils, carrier oils.

Duration:                                                                 

The home study can be started at anytime, please ask for available course dates.

Attendance:                                                            

2 practical attendance session.

Model Required?:    

Group training = No, students will work on each other.

One to one training = Yes, you will be required to bring a model along to the practical training to practice your routine on.

Case studies = Yes, you will be required to work on models for your case studies.

Case studies:                                                            

You are required to complete 10 treatments as case studies.

Accreditation body:                                               

The Complementary Medical Association, Professional Beauty, Associated beauty therapists, International Institute for Complementary

Career Opportunities:                                            

Self-Employed complementary therapist or Aromatherapist working from home, salon, mobile.

What’s included in the course fee:  

Training manual and question paper. A coursework tutor is assigned to you for full support throughout the course. Fully qualified tutor for the practical training. An accredited certificate emailed to you on successful completion of the courseA printed certificate can be posted to you at an additional cost of £5.

Additional Costs:
