TRAINING INFORMATION

Course Criteria
* 1 or 2 practical days - This will be stated next to each course and will involve 'hands on' practical learning and assessment.
* Home study - To enable maximum practical training on the day(s) you are required to study the theory aspect at home prior to attending the practical training. This will be provided to you in a comprehensive training manual which is emailed to you in PDF format.
* Question Paper - You will also receive a question paper to complete and return before the practical training day to demonstrate your understanding of the theory.
* Case studies - You will be required to carry out a number of case studies following your practical training for most of the courses in order to demonstrate your skills and understanding of the course. These must be submitted for marking before your Diploma is issued. The number of cases studies will vary for each course.

Course Pre-requisite
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is advisable on all beauty and holistic courses; however, it will be covered in the training manual. Most courses will require further home study, case studies and practical assessment.
Reflexology: A massage qualification or Anatomy & Physiology qualification.
Hot Stones Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage & Baby Massage Instructor: A massage qualification is required to take this course.
Crystal Healing: It is recommended that you have an understanding of energies and the powerful healing abilities of crystals.

The exam board for the NVQ / VRQ Qualifications is The VTCT (Vocational Training & Charitable Trust) - www.vtct.org.uk offering national and internationally recognised qualifications.

50% non refundable deposit is payable to secure your booking. Final 50% is due no later than 14 days prior to the start date of the practical training.

What to bring to the training day

· Towels - This will be specified in your welcome pack

· Hair band for long hair
· It is advisable not to wear jewellery to the practical training
· You may wear uniform to the practical training, or suitable therapy clothing
· Notepad and pen
· Your medical disclaimer form (included in your welcome pack)

* Pregnancy Massage - 2 Pillows
* Cosmetic Tanning - Tanning product which you will be using
* Make Up - Professional Make Up kit.
* Hopi Ear Candling - 1 pair of BioSun Ear Candles
* Thai Foot Massage - A thai Stick
* Tinting - Tinting Kit

Resources required to complete the training
· You will require all relevant equipment and products in order to practice your skills at home as well as completing your case studies. A list of recommended equipment and products are supplied within the training manual.
* You will be required to purchase at least one text book to support your learning, we have a recommended reading list if you require assistance in selecting a suitable book.
· All equipment and products are supplied during your practical training unless otherwise stated. Please refer to list above.
· You will be required to print off your training manual and bring with you to the practical training. If you are unable to do this a printed copy can be posted to you for an additional £7 (A printed copy of the training manual is not included in the training price)
