Kinesiology online distant learning training course
Kinesiology combines the techniques of simple muscle testing and energy balancing together with the principles of Chinese Medicine to access body function and inner energy. Kinesiology uses gentle, yet powerful, healing techniques to assist in improving health and increasing vitality. It is particularly helpful in assisting to overcome conditions such as allergies, anxiety, backache, depression, insomnia as well as skin problems.
Subjects included in the Course include: Muscle Testing & performance, Emotional Factors, Treatment Sources, Stress Release Points, Balance & Imbalance, Massage for Muscles, Acupressure, Nutritional Balancing, Psychological Reversal, Allergy Balancing, Subtle Body Energy, health & safety, hygiene in the workplace, client care and communications, anatomy & physiology. This is an introductory course, to give you a theoretical insight into Kinesiology. Practical training may be required, in addition to this course to become insured.
This course is carried out as a home study course and can be started at anytime.

Module 1: Health, safety and hygiene within the treatment room, incl professional
ethics, insurance, health and safety acts, risk assessments, how to work hygienically,
Module 2: Client care and communications: How to communicate with your client,
dealing with client questions, complaints etc. Consultation techniques.
Module 3: Anatomy & Physiology: The 12 body systems.
Module 4: Kinesiology: What is Kinesiology, History, Muscle Testing & performance, Emotional Factors, Massage for Muscles, Acupressure, Nutritional Balancing,
Module 5: Treatment suggestions: Consultation sheets,
Module 6: Case Studies: Contains the documents required to complete the case studies. There are 6 treatments to carry out and document for case studies.
This course is carried out as a home study course and can be started at anytime. This course is approx. 40 hours study (this does vary from student to student.)
Case studies = Yes, you will be required to work on models for your case studies.

Self-Employed complementary therapist or massage therapist working from home,
Training manual and question paper for each module. A coursework tutor is assigned
to you for full support throughout the course. Fully qualified tutor for the practical
training. An accredited certificate emailed to you on successful completion of the course. A printed certificate can be posted to you at an additional cost of £5.
You will need to purchase your own products, equipment (ie massage couch) in order
to carry out your case studies. We also recommend you purchase a text book to
support your learning, a recommended reading list is supplied with your training
