Qualification Choices: There are 2 qualification choices for you to choose from here to cater for all student requirements.  Accredited and VTCT.


This course in body massage will develop your practical skills in how to provide the relaxing and stress relieving treatment of body massage.  You will learn about health and safety, client care and communications as well as anatomy and physiology.

Pre-requisites (entry level): 

An anatomy & physiology qualification, this can be studied alongside this course

Course format:          

1 day practical + home study + case studies.  Training material is emailed to you.

Course content:        

Health, safety & hygiene, client care & communications, anatomy & physiology, body massage.


1 practical session



The home study can be started at anytime, please ask for available course dates.

Model Required?:    

Group training = No, students will work on each other.

One to one training = Yes, you will be required to bring a model along to the practical

training to practice your routine on.

Case studies = Yes, you will be required to work on models for your case studies.

Case studies:                                                            

You are required to complete 10 treatments as case studies.

The Complementary Medical Association, Professional Beauty, Associated Beauty Therapists, International Institute for Complementary Therapists,

Course Progression: 

On completion of On completion of this qualification you may choose to undertake

further study; qualifications you could progress to include an accredited diploma or a

VTCT qualification in:

• Complementary Therapies

• Massage

• Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies

• Reiki

• Stone Therapy Massage

• Indian Head Massage

• Infant and Child Massage

• Flower Essences

• Colour Therapy

• Crystal Therapy

Career Opportunities:          

Self-Employed massage therapist working from home, salon, Spa or Mobile.

Training pack (PDF format & word format) A coursework tutor is assigned to you for

full support throughout the course. An accredited certificate emailed to you on successful completion of the courseA printed certificate can be posted to you at an additional cost of £5.

Additional Costs:      

You will need to purchase your own products and equipment in order to carry out

your case studies and practice your skills. We also recommend you purchase a text

book to  support your learning
