Sarah Parker, MICHT, IIHHT, is an experienced complementary therapist, living and working in Northam, near Bideford, in North Devon.

Sarah is qualified in Indian Head Massage, reflexology, Thai Foot Massage, Oriental Face Massage, Japanese Hand and Arm Massage, ear candling and holistic facials. You can find full details of these relaxing therapies and the benefits they offer on her website, www.bodyandmindzone.co.uk. Sarah is passionate about the benefits of all her therapies and is pleased to be able to pass on these skills in her workshops.

Sarah trained at North Devon College (now Petroc), and qualified in 2007. She holds VTCT level 3 qualifications in reflexology, Indian Head Massage, and Anatomy and Physiology, and also went on to gain further diplomas in her other therapies. Sarah also holds the City and Guilds 7304 qualification in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS).

Sarah is also a qualified Face Yoga Teacher and runs classes and workshops. Face Yoga is a natural way of looking and feeling younger and healthier and is a combination of face exercises, face massage, face acupressure and face relaxation. It also focuses on wellbeing techniques for the mind, body and soul.

Sarah currently runs one-day Indian Head Massage workshops in Northam and Plymouth, and will soon be offering additional workshops in hand massage and reflexology. Attendance allows students to offer treatments to family and friends, but students have the option to upscale to either an accredited certificate or full VTCT qualification at a later date with Holistic Therapies Training, just paying the difference and carrying out the coursework and case studies, and attending an assessment session if required.

Students will work on each other, and at the end of the day you will give and receive a full Indian Head Massage. Classes are small (4 to 6 people) so you will receive plenty of individual attention, and there is the opportunity to follow up after the workshop if you are unsure of anything.
